| "Due to certain threats posed to our nation - of which I can't go into detail for reasons of national security - I ask the senate to approve the deployment of a deep reconnaissance unit of the Long Range Infiltration Service into foreign territory. Their mission will be to gather information and nothing more - any potential confrontations will be avoided. This is not a prelude to war, but a way of monitoring a certain nation which wishes to use aggression against us in the near future. By having a recon unit in their territory we can monitor troop movements and other preparations that satellites may not be able to pick up." - Miguel Horacio, Defence Minister |
