Bill: Budget Proposal: Democracy Dividend

Details

Submitted by[?]: United Republics Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2781

Description[?]:

Bloated police and military budgets used to crush the opposition, rig elections, and enrich Liberal favored businesses are no longer necessary. President Diggory has identified substantial waste and unnecessary programs which will not affect safety but will provide substantial savings for Lodamese taxpayers. While an overhaul of the entire budget is needed, these prudent cost savings should be implemented immediately.
