Message | Well, we might support some of the articles but we cannot support such a chaotic bill. We would advise the FP to put them into separate sections and leave them for proper debate. Eleanor Bozarburg, Vice-President, REP |

Message | We support over half of the Articles in this legislation, but, given our opposition to others - for example, national I.D cards, military service, and privatized defence industries - we cannot support it in its current form. We have decided to abstain from voting on this legislation, given that we are divided on it. If the other Articles were proposed in a seperate legislation, we would certainly support, and we applaud the Freedom Party for several of these initiatives, such as the Articles pertaining to foreign aid, illegal immigration, and capital punishment. |
