Message | Alternatives we find acceptable: * All adults upon completion of schooling must serve either a term in the military or a lesser paid term of civilian national service, at their option. * All adults upon completion of schooling must serve a term of civilian national service. |

Message | If this is open for discusssion, the FAP would go for the "military or a civlian service, at their option". |
Date | 08:47:18, July 14, 2009 CET | From | Konstitutionelle Monarchie Partei | To | Debating the Anti-Conscription Act |
Message | It would give both the army and the civil defense force a chance to get new members. |
Date | 09:13:14, July 14, 2009 CET | From | Kolonial Partei | To | Debating the Anti-Conscription Act |
Message | This is open to discussion. SP, CLA, KHP, RLP can all put in their two cents before I put it to vote. I personally would try to eliminate national service completely, but that's not a viable option. |
Date | 09:27:26, July 14, 2009 CET | From | Liberaldemokratische Allianz | To | Debating the Anti-Conscription Act |
Message | Our first choice is "There shall be no mandatory military or civilian national service.", failing that "All adults upon completion of schooling can be required in times of war to serve a term in the military." is acceptable. |
Date | 09:32:12, July 14, 2009 CET | From | Kolonial Partei | To | Debating the Anti-Conscription Act |
Message | I don't remember if the RLP is still pro-conscription, so if they're not, we can propose it in its current form otherwise we'll lose the majority. But I think we have enough to hurdle over a compromise for now. Just putting out other options we'd consider for compromise. |

Message | I like it in its current form. |
