Message | Section 2 - Mayors chosen by popular vote shall be elected at the same time as members of the Imperial Diet. There should be a seperation of the offices. Also, this act does not give citizens all the choices for their local government. If the CLA is so passionate about locals picking, why not give them the option of having appointed Mayors? |

Message | In practical terms it's too difficult to keep mayoralty elections straight if they are not linked with Diet elections. It's simply a concession to reality. As for the FAP's point about appointed mayors, good idea. Consider the bluff called. |

Message | Don't get yourself too worked up over there CLA, you didn't catch do anything. I wrote the Imperial Mayor Association Act and know what is in it; the Emperor does appoint Imperial Mayors with the citizens elected Chief Directors. I didn't say anything wrong. |

Message | ooc: Hm, I believe I misread. It is late and I am tired. Despite a clock being in front of me, I barely look at it. I may or may not vote for this. I still believe the current system we have is good enough. |

Message | The LCLG Act allows for local people to decide who leads their municipal governments, including the option of maintaining the new appointed mayors. This is a common sense act that should garner the support of all Diet members. |
