Message | OOC: Once again I'm trying to test how one extreme of the political spectrum effects the political positions of a party. I don't support the provisions in this bill... |
Date | 23:08:43, July 14, 2009 CET | From | Liberty Party | To | Debating the Test Bill |
Message | The LP is outraged at the UFP's disregard for the seriousness of this parliament and for Aloria's laws. It is clearly a party unfit to rule. I am submitting a proposal for early elections to be called for and I urge all parties to vote in favour. I will also be submitting a motion of reprimand in parliament. |

Message | While your extreme level of ignorance initially caused me to feel pity for any Alorian citizen who might cast a vote in favor of your party, I think it's necessary to explain in simpler terms (as it's become clear my initial comment went well over your head), the purpose of this bill. I'm introducing these proposals in an effort to test how specific proposals alter a party's stance on the issue. This isn't a disregard for the Parliament, it's an OOC attempt to gauge the inner workings of the game. Besides, if the other parties is Aloria decide to pass this legislation (which is unlikely), I can certainly guarantee I will reverse each and every one of these proposals as soon as possible. Rather than make a fool of yourself, try focusing on developing your own political strategy and parade around on your high horse somewhere else. |

Message | OOC: UFP if you don't support these provisions, why are you voting yes? Maybe i am confused about this test. I just don't want all of this craziness to pass, and then we have to go back and fix everything. And LP don't go crazy, elections are in 2 years. No need to do early elections. |

Message | OOC: I'm trying to see how the extremes of each political position (e.g. extreme federalist, extreme regulator) will alter my party's political stance on an issue. If the bill was going to pass (which it won't since I'm the only party "crazy" enough to "support" it ;) ) I would have voted no... especially since it would have taken me quite a while to create bills to undo its damage. It's simply a test; a concept which is clearly too complex for the mind of our esteemed colleague from the Liberty Party. |
Date | 03:32:50, July 16, 2009 CET | From | Liberty Party | To | Debating the Test Bill |
Message | The LP clearly understands the concept of a test and the intentions of the UFP with the bill, which doesn't mean it agrees with them. Quite to the contrary, the LP believes the Alorian parliament is not to be used as a test site for the UFP's manipulation of political opinion. If the UFP believes that by its defence of Aloria's legislative process the LP is making a fool of itself or parading in a high horse, the LP is proud to be a mounted parading fool in the UFP's eyes. |
Date | 04:40:53, July 16, 2009 CET | From | United Freedom Party | To | Debating the Test Bill |
Message | Once again you've distorted the facts in order to fuel your blind accusations. The UFP has had no intention of manipulating anything, rather gauge the inner workings of the game in an effort to see the effects of legislation in this Parliament. You've defended nothing and used the ensuing "reprimand" to further your own political ambitions. |
