Message | LDP of Luthori Secretary to the Imperial Diet, the Rt Hon. David Bowman: "Mr Speaker, The Liberal Democratic Party of Luthori has and will always display a strong sense of pride and love for our glorious Empire. National pride is most definitely something to be encouraged amongst our population. That being said, it is not the place of the Government to regulate how private institutions operate. This includes the private education system which has operated smoothly and successfully in Luthori for nearly a century. One of the benefits of our unique system is that schools can be created to target specific demands. Therefore, if a sector of the population demand a school which enforces the singing of our national anthem each day, the demand will be fulfilled by an equally sized sector of the private education system. By the same token, if there is a sector of the population which opposes this custom, it would be immoral of the Government to disallow a private entity to fulfil their own demands. Thus, we oppose this bill. I yield." |
