Message | Oppose articles 1 and 2. Mayors should conform to the national agenda, and the party is not willing to surrender control over the territories. However, article 3. with the idea of one man, one vote, could pass the party. |

Message | Comrade Speaker, If I may say, allowing the people to choose their own mayors shall keep the populace happy and allow them freedom. We could put a requirement on that all candidates must swear loyalty to the party or something similar. It would make sure that the mayors are conforming to national agenda, but also allow the populace freedom and democracy. |
Date | 03:52:41, July 21, 2009 CET | From | Communist Party of Kafuristan | To | Debating the Election Reforms |
Message | We are willing to allow mayoral elections, as long as the federal government of the people is able to veto any treasonous candidates. But we agree that as long as all the candidates are loyal socialists, that the people should be able to choose the most qualified among them. |

Message | And as part of every mayor's swearing in, he will have to swear an oath to the party. |
