Message | Can we speak together about a radical reform of the state? We are speaking about federalism, flag, cities names, sport, etc. |
Date | 01:27:25, July 23, 2009 CET | From | Republic of Dorvik Free Party | To | Debating the State reform |
Message | Head of State and Head of Government being separate we can agree with. No need to use Comrade, Prime Minister will suffice. The municipal councils exercise mayoral powers we would support, as too with changing Districts to states. The Term Length should remain at 36, 24 is too short, and I would consider supporting 501 seats. So that there are no dead locks. |
Date | 05:53:01, July 23, 2009 CET | From | United People's Socialist Collectives | To | Debating the State reform |
Message | We support articles 2, 5, 6 and 7 only. If articles 1 and 3 were removed, and the number of seats changed to somewhere in the vicinity of 500, then we could consider voting for this proposal. |
Date | 15:00:04, July 23, 2009 CET | From | Dorvik Worker's Party | To | Debating the State reform |
Message | We support 599 seats for the Assembly, and the title Comrade for the head of state. We would also like to see Dorvik's nation name officially become The Socialist Republic of Dorvik. |
Date | 15:04:18, July 23, 2009 CET | From | Dorvik Worker's Party | To | Debating the State reform |
Message | So Dorvik is not transformed into yet another typically boring particracy republic we will not support a proposal to change District to State, Province is a better suggestion. |
Date | 04:56:17, July 24, 2009 CET | From | Dorvik Worker's Party | To | Debating the State reform |
Message | Furthering discussion it makes no sense for a Dorvik region to be called a State as States are only called States because they were once independantly governed regions before they unified into a country. |
