Bill: Expansion of Military Industry

Details

Submitted by[?]: Communist Party of Kafuristan

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2792

Description[?]:

With this bill, the government shall fund 1000 new tanks and airplane factories across Kafuristan. This is because during the solidification phase of our revolution, our primary opposition may indeed come from outside forces opposed to the liberation of the workers. We therefore need to start gearing up for any eventual war. The revolution must be on guard for the reactionaries, therefore, we hope to open up numerous tank and airplane factories to begin mass producing this kind of military equipment. Not to mention this will help counter unemployment.

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there.
