Bill: Infrastructure
Details
Submitted by[?]: Party of the Pro-Kalopian Dynasty
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2792
Description[?]:
We wish to pass this bill to improve each individually region. The "user-pays" money, from the rich, or who used to be rich, will go to the government, and it would be simpler if each region maintained it's own grid. We hope this will be accepted by the mighty, all-powerful Communist State. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Government policy on the nation's power grid.
Old value:: The national grid is fully owned by the state.
Current: Multiple private companies each own and maintain sections of the national power grid.
Proposed: Each region owns and maintains its own power grid.
Article 2
Proposal[?] to change Funding of public transport (where applicable).
Old value:: Public transport is fully subsidised by the government.
Current: Public transport is fully subsidised by the government.
Proposed: Public transport is fully subsidised for people with low-income, with the remainder "user-pays".

Message | Article 2 we cannot accept, article one is acceptable. |

Message | Isn't that the socialist way of life? Basing everything on income? |

Message | But there are no wealthy left in Kafuristan. Everyone now officially has equal income, so such a measure is redundant and may well mean everyone pays for transports. |

Message | Well if everyone has low income, we pay for everyone. If at one point in time, if this Communist Regime is ever over thrown, God forbid it not be, then this law will go into effect. So, in a sense, it may be preparing for the future. |

Message | Alright, comrade, we see what you say. We will accept this law. |

Message | Thank you. And may the Communist State forever be in effect, so this second article may never come into play. |

Message | Of course, communism shall never fall. Not so long as the people remain strong and vigilant of opposition and those who would undermine the regime. The moment we lose vigilance, and allow fake communists to undermine our institutions, is the momement we lose control :) |
