Message | Please wait at least six months before putting a bill up to vote. This is national legislative policy. We see no reason at this time to reduce taxes. We are currently enjoying a considerable budgetary surplus, and have no need to lower taxes to boost our economy. |

Message | It is precisely the fact that we are in surplus that brings us to propose a reduction in taxes. The fact that we can afford a tax cut now means that, aside from paying down debts and possibly investing in capital projects (such as infrastructure improvements) or non-entitlement programs, we should be reducing taxes. OOC note: And there's no way for me to propose shuffling the income tax brackets upwards that I can see. |

Message | Reserves are important. Imagine an economic crises, a large-scale public work, or what have you. We'd need these saved funds in order to fulfill these often unexpected demands. Not to mention making up for our debts and the old deficit. Republic Reserves must be maintained, and one day soon we shall spend more on the public |
