All citizens are entitled to the fundamental freedom of speech and expression, including but not limited to the expression of such beliefs, opinions, and consciences laid out in Sections 1 and 6 of this Part, unless such expressions or manifestations threaten, or have the strong potential to threaten, the public welfare, public order, or the security of the State. Rascist and bigoted speech have strong potential to harm the security of the State and the public welfare of the Imperial Crownlands. I don't know if the National Party was around or knows about this time in history but there was a time where Hulstrians and Gao-Showans were divided by hate speech and segregation that resulted in numerous fights and instability. While both policies may be outlawed today does not mean there are still citizens out there who poccess hate and ill-minded opinions on different ethnic groups who have thankfully not been able to gain a national voice thanks to this law; the Nationals are opening up a can of worms by allowing these hate groups to gain any further ground in this country. What do racists have to protest? That someone else does not have the same skin color as them, the same shape of their eyes, or their culture? Come on now. |

Racial segregation has been dead for some time in Hulstria and there is no moral reason to restrict people's fundamental rights. As much as you may hate to hear it, racists have the same rights as all other Hulstrians. |

| Message | OOC: yeah I know this but I'm saying proportionally. GS make up 20%, but haven't had that much power. The NP itself has only had a few GS in the party, we're mostly white male Hulstrians. Too socialist of an analysis for a right wing party though. ;) |

| Message | Our party wasn't aware that racism was a big issue in Greater Hulstria. How often do we even have hate crime cases in Hulstria between the Gao-Showa and Hulstrians? The last time racism was rampant was hundreds of years ago. OOC: In regards to GS politicians, the NDU currently has 3 GS in its main leadership, and I'd say maybe we have five or six GS as apart of our 49 seats. |
