Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:
Date | 10:19:16, August 06, 2009 CET | From | Rutanian Heritage Party | To | Debating the Elitist Manifesto II. |
Message | The RHP has mixed reactions to this legislation - we strongly support Articles 5, 6, 9, 10 and 11, and we can certainly support Article 2 as a marked improvement on current policy, but we oppose Articles 1, 4, 8, and particularly 7. Due to our mixed feelings, we will abstain from any voting on this legislation until we reach a consensus within the party on which way to vote. |

Message | Alternatively, if the Articles we oppose were removed, we would, of course, guarantee our full support for this legislation. |
Date | 10:30:06, August 06, 2009 CET | From | Rutanian Heritage Party | To | Debating the Elitist Manifesto II. |
Message | We may be willing to make a compromise with the REP, in light of their willingness recently to compromise on the RHP's Immigration and Extradition Reform Act. If they were to remove Articles 7 and 8, for example, we would be willing to support this legislation. |

Message | The two articles were removed. |

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election. |
