| The government does not tolerate anyone to make a profit from death and bloodshed. The government should not allow businesses to exist when the only way they make money is when our brave men and women in uniform are fighting and dying. The government must take a stand and put these war profiteers to rest. |

| Message | By that logic, the State should own all defense industries. This proposed legislation would actually result in one of two of the following, with either scenario being highly unfavorable to the national defense interests of Telamon: 1) Telamon would be required to import weapons and equipment from other countries, thereby transferring "death" profits to other countries, hurting our economy, and all but eradicating our sovereignty. 2) Telamon's brave men and women standing at the ready to defend this country would have nothing but sticks and stones to do so with, which needless to say would result in more Telamonian blood shed. The DCD itself does not believe there is anything immoral about gaining profit from helping the country equip itself to defend against any potential acts of aggression, and we think that to call it "War profiteering" is a slightly too black and white portrayal of what the industry does for this country, Donivan Hershey Chairman Democratic Capitalist Delegation |
