Bill: Economic Deregulation Act of 2802
Details
Submitted by[?]: Constitutionalist Imperial League (IA)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 2802
Description[?]:
IC: The minimum wage is much too high. High minimum wages have the only effect of making companies outsource their production to other places, thus creating massive unemployment. It has been proven time and time again that the main cause of unemployment is anti-business legislation. Therefore, we call on a reduction of the minimum wage to 40 pence per hour, which is the sum necessary to survive adequately*. We also propoe to shift sports clubs back to the private sector, as it is more efficient in the handling of such things. Furthermore, the Empire will sell a license to Sports' clubs wishing to represent particular city, or the Empire in general. This will assure that our Empire is represented by only the very best players in sports championships. OOC:* I am basing this on Luthori currency, which is: £1=$20, so 40 pence per hour would be equal to $8 per hour. |
