| Regardless of outcome at the next election, the LLP would like to ask for cross party support for increasing the term of the Imperial Diet. We feel that the short legislative term works against the stability of the nation and hinders good governance. |

| Message | Mr. Speaker, We would like to see the return of the 48 month term, but due to the deal with the Anti-Monarchist, it must stay. Yet not like the ASD has kept their word and helped to put back the Treaties and historic documents it took down. I yield. |

| Message | Mr Speaker, The LDP of Luthori has always and will always support longer legislative terms. An election every two years is inefficient and costly. We, like our colleagues at the ICL, would rather see the terms increased back to the 48 month length, but will support this move in the interem. As for the "deal" with the Anti-Monarchists, the Alliance of Social Democrats has done very little in the way of compromising or negotiating with the Monarchists so we see no reason why we should refrain from improving our system albeit against their wishes.
