Bill: Green Society Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Absurdist Labour Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2807
Description[?]:
Ignorance and Eco-scepticism are one and the same. It could not possibly be argued that ignorance has a place in society, therefore we must take immediate action to: 1. Regulate and reduce all waste products from national industry. 2. If the private sector shows its ugly face once more we must regulate endlessly and tax waste output shamelessly. 3. We must place recycling and waste disposal bins in more convenient places around Darnussia's major towns and cities. 4. It will become a criminal offence to drop litter or knowingly cause harm to the planet without a valid argument to do so (e.g. industry and transport). It is against the principles of the society we stand for. 5. It will become illegal to unreformed transport vehicles that were manufactured before the year of 2735. However, the government will offer subsidies to replace the engine or entire vehicle in order to deem it road legal. 6. Green politics will become a priority and a Select Committee for enviromental issues will be formed to regulate and monitor Green Progress |
