Message | Every Crownland has a unique culture and this should remain a local decision. This has been debated extensively in the past, and doesn't need to be again. |
Date | 23:41:41, August 23, 2009 CET | From | Königs Reichspartei | To | Debating the Marriage Restriction |
Message | That is true, however every Crownland's culture meets the proposed legislation. The legislation is not forcing the Crownlands to change their cultures in anyway, it is only condoning them. |

Message | You're assuming this goes with every Crownland's culture. As stated, this law should remain with the locals. |

Message | According to http://particracy.wikia.com/wiki/Hulstria the legislation does follow all of their practices. Hulstrians and the Gao-Showa have two very different cultures. However they do have some common ground such as reverence for authority and history and a strong belief in family bonds and values. If you take some time to look at the site you will find all Hustrians are Christian who hold conservative views and although there has been a liberal movement in the church there is still no approval to Gay rights. |

Message | I've been in Hulstria for a long time, I know the culture. And just so you know, for the past decade or so, a socialist party was the largest party; so there is flaw in your claim that all Hulstrians hold conservative views. Many may hold those views, but not all. For example, the Crownlands of Hulstria & Kuratha. Hulstria is 58.7% progressive in moral issues and 66.5% secular in religious issues. Kuratha is 65.3% progressive in moral issues and 69.4% secular in religious issues. That's not exactly conservative, and pro-gay rights movements can easily exist successfully in those regions. |

Message | I respect you were Hulstria for a long time. I'm only going by what the Wiki told me, even your results prove the majority are conservative. Regardless, most progression in moral issues (again according to Wiki) promote Christian religious freedom and all the Christian religions in Hulstria, according to Wiki, hold anti-gay views |

Message | The wiki is quite out of date on many issues, this especially. Until the 2803 election, the majority of the Imperial Diet supported equality regardless of sexual preference. The CLA has always been a staunch supporter of gay rights, as was the Socialist Party of Greater Hulstria. |

Message | Well I'm part of the Anti Homosexual Union. May the best Party win. PS When do you believe the wiki will update? |
Date | 09:01:38, August 24, 2009 CET | From | Kolonial Partei | To | Debating the Marriage Restriction |
Message | The NP has always held moderate views on gays. We don't think we should condone or approve of homosexuality, but we shouldn't try to actively find them, persecute them, or poke our noses in their bedrooms, etc. |

Message | Some Crownlands are RPed differently than others; for example Hilgar is a socialist paradise while Hulstria is a libertarian playground. Numbers change all the time in particracy, it is impossible to keep one region on ideology when every 10 years numbers changes in different direction. The wiki is perfectly updated, you're saying it as if CLA that no one has touched our pages for 3 months. |
