Message | Deltarian immigrants? I think not. Positive discrimation in the Sultanate is designed to ensure that more jobs go to women, given a culture that continues to be partiarchal in many ways. It's not as if we are requiring companies to hire minorities. We only encourage it. If a company wants to give 50% of its new jobs to women, shouldn't it be allowed to do that? This bill will take away the company's right to decide its own hiring policies. If you want to let the companies decide their own hiring, then "the government has no policy" is your option. Strongly opposed to this bill. |

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map. |
