*Additional Attachment (comment) by the Liberal Party*

This resolution we introduce today is not a political witch hunt nor do any of us hold a grudge against the Divine Majesty. However, recent comments by the United Republics Party referring to the Head of State position as "serving no purpose" leads us to believe that there is no need for the public to provide any compensation for someone who doesn't work for them.

We hope all parties, including the URP, supports this resolution. We must pass it in the name of democracy and fairness.

MessageWe'd prefer to see a budget cut, rather than a complete cessation of relations between the Head of State and the legislature.

Message1. The Divine Majesty does not draw a salary, but is compensated for expenses related to his official functions.
2. The Palace is property of his Divine Majesty and connot be siezed since the government can only sieze property for vital government works.
3. The government cannot establish museums, it can only fund private groups looking to establish museums.

I suggest the LP familiarize itself with the law. This bill cannot be enforced under current law and will simply be ignored even if passed. I suggest the LP file a lawsuit in our nonexistent legal system if unsatisfied.

MessageWhile we are skeptical of aforementioned claims of the URP, we recognize that this is not the most appropriate action to take at this time, as the Divine Majesty is receives very few public funds in the first place. Alternatively, we will enter a bill revoking the Divine Majesty's official position as a religious figure. This should probably suffice.

MessageIn response to the URP:

1- According to the URP, the Divine Majesty has no official functions or better described in your own words "serves no purpose." Why the need for compensation?

2- The Palace is not property of the Divine Majesty, it is property of our government. Please, point out the resolution giving the Palace to the Divine Majesty.

3- Please read the following: "The Presidential Palace will be turned into a historical museum. Parliament shall appropriate enough funding for the proper maintenance of the aforementioned historical museum."

It doesn't say the government will create the museum but rather appropriate funding for its maintenance. All of these is in accordance to the law.

This resolution does not go against any law. And please, stop your worthless rhetoric. No one cares about it.

MessagePlease point out the bill that states the Royal Palace is not owned by the crown. The HoS clearly has jurisdiction over this area with Royal Guard etc. -Produces deed. Prove otherwise.

MessageGreat logic. We have to be the ones proving that it's not the government's. It;s just so absurd that is absolutely hilarious. But we expect that kind of reasoning from the URP.
