"The BKP recognises that it is the Meclisi's duty to avoid a return to minority rule and frequent instability. For that reason we propose the following amendments. Article 1: All citizens must register in one of the following 'voter groups': i) Ebionite Christian (For those following the Ebionite faith and/or coming from Ebionite families and/or identifying themselves as culturally Ebionites only.) ii) Jewish (For those following Judaism and/or identifying themselves as racially Jewish and/or identifying themselves as culturally Jewish and not falling into category i only.) iii) Duntrekkan (For those identifying themselves as racially Dundorfian and/or identifying themselves as racially Hulstrian and/or identifying themselves as racially Duntrekkan, and/or identifying themselves as culturally 'Dundorfic', and not falling into category i or ii only.) iv) Brmek/ Islamic (For those following Islam and/or identifying themselves as racially Brmek and/or identifying themselves as culturally Brmek and not falling into category i, ii or iii only.) v) Other (For those not falling into category i, ii, iii or iv only.) Article 2:Registration will occur firstly at the age of 16 during voter registration. Failure to submit correct information, or to update registration data in a timely manner will result in a fine of up to 25,000 BAR. Article 3: Seats in the Meclisi shall henceforth be divided between voter groups, in the following manner. Ebionites: 98 Seats (or 14% of seats) Jewish: 70 Seats (or 10% of seats) Duntrekkan: 28 Seats (or 4% of seats) Brmek/ Islamic: 500 Seats (or 71% of seats) Other: 4 Seats (or 1% of seats) Should the size of the legislative body be changed, the percentage of seats allocated should be used to determine new seat numbers. |
