Message | We can never support the reactionary Ducal Delegation entering government. If any of these other parties can be bribed into doing so then they should be ashamed of themselves. |

Message | With a wry smirk, His Grace recalls how easily the Novy Smers have been bribed in the past.... Percy Waterman (Personal Secretary to the Grand Duke of Hikirena) |

Message | Novy Smer attacks the party rather than the merits of said party's proposal. In cognitive science, there is a logical fallacy based upon this type of lowly attack; it's called "Poisoning the Well." Novy Smer's argumentation is also amusing (amusingly foolish, that is). The same reasoning that Novy Smer uses can be applied against Novy Smer's own proposal: if it's bad to have a overwhelmingly reactionary government, can't it also be bad to have an overwhelmingly socialist government? Novy Smer's reliance on hypocricy is appalling. Ironically, the PC Party finds this proposal to be more balanced than Novy Smer's recent cabinet proposal. The PC Party has advocated balance of power from its beginning, and will continue to adhere to this principle. While the PC Party considers the Fenner Brockway Socialist Party to be a friend, it cannot - for the sake of balance of power - support a government that is overwhelmingly dominated by a single party. This proposal, contrastingly, offers roughly an equal amount of power to each of the parties involved. The PC Party finds this proposal more acceptable than the other two cabinet proposals that have already been tabled. |

Message | Unfortunately it is with regret that we must vote no, as all parties promised to let the Sanctaphrax Party have Infrastructure until the Olympics. |

Message | If PC are willing to enter a cabinet along with a party which advocates slavery then let them declare themselves to be the evil force that they are! |
Date | 01:25:02, October 25, 2005 CET | From | Progressive Conservatives | To | Debating the Revised Cabinet Proposal |
Message | Once again, Novy Smer demonstrates its incompetency, bias, and narrow-mindedness by responding to a valid point with a lowly and unfounded personal attack rather than a considered response on the merits of the proposal. The PC Party considers each legislation based on its merits; we have voted both with and against every single party in Aldegar on issues in the past. Just because the PC Party finds this proposal to be much more reasonable, that does not mean the PC Party would change its principles and values in the future. There is yet another logcal fallacy based upon these tactics used by Novy Smer; it's called "Hasty Generalization." We advise the Novy Smer to refrain from making any further replies to this legislation, at least until they can come up with a logical and coherent argument. Although we find Novy Smer's hypocritical behavious very despicable, we still hate to see a party embarrass itself like Novy Smer has. |
