Message | We will support. However, we see no need for drastic tax cuts, as currently the state only spends around a quarter of the GDP, thus we could back further increases in infrastructure, health and education, reflecting what the government is responsible for. |

Message | I was going to leave this up for debate longer, but with the support of the CPL, i feel this bill has a good chance of passing now. |

Message | Reducing the Defense budget will severely damage our defense capabilities. And seeing the incompetence of the Foreign Affairs Minister, we are going to need as much money as we can. |

Message | The RNP opposes putting our men and women service people at risk due to underfunding, we will therefore oppose this bill. |

Message | http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=238127 If the above Bill is anything to go by, it is potentally the case, given the century in between, that thearmed forces of Lodamun are still at their maximum strength for a voluntary body. We feel that the armed forces should be reduced in size, giving a more compact and effective professional force. |

Message | Or look at it from the following point of view. Currently defence receives 150Billion Lods in funding, out of a GDP of 1,213Billion Lods. Defence spending of just under 12.4% of total GDP. That is an insane amount in a democratic nation, with a non-conscript army, and in peacetime!! ooc: Its just insane. No western nation even compares to that. Even the US is c.5%, and in western Europe much less. |

Random fact: It is possible for a player to transfer ownership of a character or a royal house to another player. This should be done in a public way, such as on the Character Transfers thread, so that if a dispute arises in the future, Moderation can be pointed towards evidence of the transfer. |
