Message | Sort of like the PP wants to censor advertising? In any case, the reason why we have voluntary ID cards is for identification, the same as drivers licences and such, and these ID cards can carry things like medical information which would be very helpful in cases the individual in unconcience. That is why they are voluntary and not mandatory, it gives people a choice whether they want this so called 'government intrusion'. Now, if you remove #1, I'll be more than happy to vote for this. |

Message | why do these ids need to be provided at the federal level? Can not the province governments handle this? Do we want a national driver's licence or province administered tests. If province then this whole plan can be shifted down to that level and the info can be put on the licences. Optional ids rapidly do not become optional, because stores and other buisnesses will require this id to do business like buying alcohol or opening a bank account. And look at the bright side MDP, if this law is passed, companies can advertise on other nation's media and reach our citizens. |

Random fact: Don't put "the" as the first word in your party name, because when parties are referred to in news reports, their names are preceded with "the", e.g. the [Socialist Party] has lost. |
