Message | http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=1525 Why do we need another one? Or is the government admitting that the Treaty created by the Jews was just for the benefit of the Jews? |

Message | This treaty is unnecessary. We already have a treaty with Luthori. This treaty, also makes us agree to unregulated foreign investment. The current law is The government's policy regarding foreign investments. Foreign investors may invest in national companies, but may not get a majority share. We can not accept a treaty that goes against the current laws of our country. This treaty is unnecessary and will just create problems. Martin Lebowitz Chairman Jewish Defense League |

Message | Our current treaty with Luthori includes essentially no trade provisions. The DCD is a proponent of free trade, and therefore see the usefulness of this trade agreement. However, we reject the anti-semetic, absurdist claims made by the TDL. In fact, we reject these claims not only because they have no evidence to support them, but we have the evidence against them. The current agreement was drafted by the JDL with input from the DCD, and in fact was based on the model of the Telamon/Endralon Northern Alliance Agreement, a document drafted by the DCD in concert with the government of Endralon. We would recommend to the impulsive members of the TDL to research their history before making blatantly false claims about longstanding parties of this Parliament. Message | Also, in response to Mr. Lebowitz, the laws of this country are exactly what this Parliament deems them to be. If this treaty were to pass, it would not be in conflict with the laws of our country, because naturally it would change the law specifically in regards to our dealings with Luthori. In the future, we would recommend to Mr. Lebowitz that he increase his familiarity with statutory law before making such erroneous claims on the floor of Parliament. Random fact: Moderation reserves the discretion to declare RP laws invalid if the players supporting them are doing so in an excessively confrontational way. |
