Message | The arguments for 'consistency' are used time and time again to justify centralization and uniformity, but why does consistency between regions matter at all? Why is it a problem if one local government decides, on behalf of the communities it represents, that child benefits should not be provided, when another decides it should? The answer is quite simple - the LDP cannot bare to imagine that there are states in which the people and governments don't share their concerns for total wealth-redistribution and welfare-statism. The LDP cannot stand to allow even one state to stray from this socialist orthodoxy, and demands that each be forced into conformity with an iron fist if they have fallen out of step. This continual aim by the LDP towards the usurpation of local government authority and autonomy is completely and utterly unjustifiable. |

Message | The Liberal Democratic Party only support larger government if they have some reason to believe that it will lead to material improvement in people's lives. We think the eradication of child poverty, amongst other vital things, should be guaranteed across Rutania. The current policy fails in that respect. Message | The OP are opposed to centralization, as we are in most cases, and we will continue to be consistent on this issue. We cannot support. If a large enough bloc of voters wanting this legislation exists in one of the commonwealths then we would fully expect it to pass. Our aim should not be material gain. This is the wrong approach. Rather, the aim of Rutanian society, and government, should be the personal betterment of oneself. Give the people their freedoms, give them an equal footing, an equal opportunity--a better education--then we will see material gain as a result. |

Message | What happens to the families with low incomes or living in poverty in the regional areas of Rutania where the majority of voters have decided they do not want this legislation? Is that giving them an equal footing....an equal opportunity? |

Random fact: Large scale RP planning (such as wars, regional/continental conflicts, economic collapse, etc.) should be planned (as best as it can be) and should have consent of a majority of players involved. |
