Bill: Federal Finance Act of 2825

Details

Submitted by[?]: Rutanian Restoration Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 2826

Description[?]:

Due to the fluctuation of inflation, population (and population composition), and use of resources the Orange Party propose the following:

1.) The Finance Ministry will introduce a new budget every term.
2.) If a new Finance Ministry is to be chosen, then the budget will be introduced by the former party in control of the ministry.
3.) Of course, the rules for passing the budget remain the same.
4.) The budget will decided by a joint cabinet decision and proposed to the Senate after the following election for a vote.
5.) This Act of the Senate will be active immediately after the 2826 elections.

MessageWe, at the REP see the need for the comprehensive budgetary policy which takes into account the dynamics of our economy. That is why we support this bill.

Though I, personally, would have some questions. How would the Ministry of Finances designate the priorities of the new budget? By parliamentary debate or joint cabinet decision?

MessageWell, the bill will inherently face debate in the Senate. But we were think a joint cabinet decision would be made, then put before the Senate and the bill would be put to vote after the election.
