Bill: Health Care Bill 2834

Details

Submitted by[?]: United Democrats

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2835

Description[?]:

We need to provide adequate, affordable health care for our less fortunate citizens.

A free national medical service would encourage patients to practice preventive medicine and visit doctors early when the diagnosis and treatment will be less extensive. Currently, patients often avoid visits to the doctor and other preventive measures because of the costs.

We propose adjustments to the taxation rates in order to better fund this service.

MessageThe REP will support this bill provided the fact that the Commonwealth has significant budgetary surplus which could cover the funding for a Rutanian National Health Care System. After the bill passes we could alter our national budget accordingly.

MessageWe will support this bill. This will consume the entire surplus, but I suppose it's better than legislating the end of federal revenue.

This bill has been a long time coming. We thank the Senators from the DPR for their resolution in getting this bill passed. This will be a landmark day in Rutanian history.
