MessageThis change will just weaken the minority and strengthen the majority, this is the last thing we need at this crisis point in Rutania.

MessageThe PPR currently agree with the DPR, could the Orange Party (or LDP) expand on the reasoning behind this.

MessageOne of the causes of this crisis we are facing is the fact all the parties have very close numbers of senators. If there was more defined positions of power in the government this would help. Of course the main reason for the crisis is the RRC, but I guess they are aware of their responsibility in causing political chaos in Rutania.

MessageI do not know why there is speak of a crisis in Rutania or who caused it. Why is the atmosphere in the Senate so tense? The fact is merely that the moderating parties of Rutania are losing out to the far-left and right.

And I shall explain the Orange Party's reasoning behind this bill, and it has nothing to do with what the LDP has suggested.

The reasoning is simply that we want expanded representation. More representatives when smaller populations within senate districts. More Senate districts=more senators=great representation.

This is not a response to any crisis. There is no crisis. This is a normal bill, passing at a normal time when the torch of leadership in Rutania is being passed.

MessageI don't understand the reasoning behind this bill, or in fact the need for it. The representation of voters is clear and precise enough without making an even bigger margin between the parties. We have not yet fully decided to oppose this legislation but we are leaning towards it.

MessageWhy 500 seats?

Why not 750?

MessageThis is an incredibly short sighted proposal. There can only be one party to benefit from this. I am particularly concerned that the LDP have voted for this proposal.
