MessageThe PPR would like the Orange Party to expand on their reasons for this legislation change. The PPR are not against this proposal but, currently, do not feel the need to change it. We would gladly welcome more debate and we remain open minded.

MessageWe feel that medical regulatory bodies will be better able to deal with cases of malpractice, having a far greater collective knowledge of medical procedures than patients. Allowing individuals to sue doctors without these regulatory bodies could prove disasterous, and there could potentially be a spike in frivelous law-suits against doctors for no purpose other than to get money.
