Message | OOC: *cough* Bullshit *cough* IC: Mr. Speaker, We would challenge the right honorable members of the United Alliance, upon which finding their new supermajority, have decided to function as a proper political party within the Directorate at last, why it is they find that the sale of fireworks, foreign-investments, child-labor and an international treaty Director-General Balfour himself wrote and endorsed have to do with one another? Indeed, nothing. We can clearly this that the United Alliance is pandering to opinion polls for the sake of their own meaningless clout in this chamber. It's frankly deplorable behavior and the F.R.P. will have no part in it. It's astounding as well, that our colleagues from across the aisle in an attempt to perform political calculas and have no spine of conviction would dare to propose Article 1; now the United Alliance is for the potentially forced labor of children? My dear lord, what has the honorable members of the U.A. become if not barbarians. . . I yield the floor, Mr. Speaker. --Enrich Izzard, Junior Director of Ingomu's 3rd District |

Message | Mr.Speaker It does not take much intelligence to see that all the articles proposed deal with the economy of The Federation. Some speakers accuse us of "pandering to opinion polls". Well excuse us for bending to the will of the people, that would be most contemptible of us now wouldn't it! Believe it or not, the people run this Directorate, and If we do not serve them than what (or should i say who?) do we serve? We will continue to serve the people as we have done for 105 years now, even though we have not been around as long as the FRP, we have not forgotten that we serve the people, and not the corporations! Concerning Article 1 specifically: There is absolutely No mention, I REPEAT! No mention of forced labor in this article. Forced Labor would be slavery, and we have laws against that kind of thing in the Federation. I find it funny how some FRP members are worried about the coddling of our children, yet have no care for the working man, with Their steadfast support of The Unkassa Accords, which outlawed Trade Unions, permits employees to fire workers who have gone on strike and many other equally unbalanced things. So please do not speak to us of "Forced Labor" when one of the very foundations of the Federal Republicans and this administration is to take away rights from the working Zardic Man and Woman using the excuse of Economic Prosperity. We would also remind Mr.Izzard that there is no use for such childish name calling here in The Most Prestigious Directorate I Yield The Floor, Mr. Speaker --Anthony Lippman United Alliance Trade and Industry Administrator Senior Director of Belgae's 1st District |
