Bill: Community Interventionism
Details
Submitted by[?]: National People's Gang
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2133
Description[?]:
While accepting it may be necessary for the government to sometimes take action to preserve essential goods and services run by gifted and talented owners and managers but which have fallen into irretrievable debt and face closure - despite the gifts and talents of the managers and their obvious skills in operation within the fair, just and omnipotent open market - we do not believe the community fund should allow gifted and talented managers and owners to thwart their otherwise superlative careers by remaining in control of such operations when their gifts and talents may be required urgently elsewhere. If, by their actions or inaction, gifted and talent (or otherwise) owners and managers force the government to intervene, they should, immediately and forevermore, be relieved the burden of any controlling interest and any managerial authority within the organisation. |

Message | Your request for modification has been noted. Our League of Scribes has been asked to rework the description, however, there will be a short delay as the Illuminated Lettering Department is currently in dispute with the Sans Serif Amalgamated Font Society and therefore members of the Allied Flong & Fudge Box Operatives cannot proceed. Negotiators have declined to comment directly on the timing of a resolution but we believe it may be imminent. |

Message | The description has now been modified, following the resolution of the dispute between members of the ILD and the SSAFS. Relatively minor additional delays were caused when members of the AFFBO staged a walk out in protest at the protest of the SSAFS which led to the dispute with the ILD. However, members of the AFFBO agreed to walk back when the membership of the SSAFS protested and passed a resolution supporting the AFFBO in their protest. |
