Message | Unarmed policemen have proven they efficiency. |
Date | 06:18:41, October 27, 2005 CET | From | United Socialist Front | To | Debating the Police Protection Act |
Message | Why kill someone if all you need to do is paralyse them, or injure them? As the populace shall have no access to firearms, as an earlier bill proposes and shall enforce if passed, there shall be no need for the police to carry them either. People who have guns tend to like using them, especially whne they're right there at their hip. We don't want a large trigger-happy police force on our hands... |
Date | 22:19:30, October 27, 2005 CET | From | Progressive Social Liberty Party | To | Debating the Police Protection Act |
Message | The Liberal Social Party is not opposed to armed police men |
Date | 02:35:46, October 28, 2005 CET | From | New Aldurian Conservative Party | To | Debating the Police Protection Act |
Message | It is our sincere belief that citizens should be able to own firearms, if just because laws rarely prevent criminals from acquiring firearms. Police should be able to use firearms as well, for at the least the same reason, if not because law-abiding citizens have firearms as well. |
Date | 17:06:50, October 29, 2005 CET | From | Aldurian Communist Party | To | Debating the Police Protection Act |
Message | The crime rate in Alduria is very low, so unarmed officers have, at least, not had the effect of increasing crime. We see no reason to change this. |
