All people of this nation shall be guaranteed: (a) the right of the individual to life, liberty, security of the person and enjoyment of property and the right not to be deprived thereof except by due process of law; (b) the right of the individual to equal and fair protection and judgment before the law: (c) freedom of religion; (d) freedom of speech; (e) freedom of assembly and of association; (f) freedom of the press; (h) the right not to be arbitrarily detained, imprisoned, or exiled (i) the right not to undergo cruel and/or unusual punishment (j) the right to being immediately provided a reason for detention, prompt instrucion by legal counsel, and habaes corpus (k) the right to a fair trial, which includes: -a fair hearing -being innocent until proven guilty -an impartial counsel/ tribunal/ panel/ court/ commission/ board (l) freedom to possess, acquire, and use firearms This billl required 2/3s to pass and 2/3s to amend in future bills. |
