Message | The JLSP disagrees. While we have no disagreements with allowing private space travel, allowing it to be conducted entirely privately is not a very good idea. As we've mentioned before, long term research is seldom economical enough for private companies to engage in. Do you think private companies could've put a man on the moon in the 60s? Space exploration and research, as it is now, pushes our technical and scientific knowledge decades ahead of what market forces would allow otherwise. |
