| Message | A country is judged by how it treats its most vulnerable, forcing prisoners to work, effectively creating slave labour, is wrong. If you treat a prisoner like an animal that is all you will have, rehabilitation is more important punishment and the People's Equality Party believes that under the current system prisoners learn the value of a hard days work by being paid for it. |

| Message | Prisoners are vulnerable, when they are in prison they could effectively have no rights, we should still treat them as people. Also you've assumed all prisoners are guilty of such terrible crimes, what about fraud, or not paying taxes, you can't justify this bill by only mentioning the worst criminals. |
