Bill: Legislative Reform Act, 2849
Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Progressive Alliance (IA)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 2851
Description[?]:
The current limits on maximum quota accumulation, and annual quota allowance are too strict. It limits visibility of newer and less powerful parties by not allowing them to make their message heard through legislative action. The proposed bill desires to double the yearly quota and maximum quota each by a factor of 2. This will ensure that the legislative process is still debate-driven and not sensitive to radicalism, but also makes the legislative process more accessible. |
