Message | For a centrist-liberal party, this is very far-left. |

Message | Current adoption policy is: "Adoption is strictly regulated by the government. Only by passing several tests and by following an intensive program applicants can adopt children." Any couple or individual that can pass those tests and successfully complete the intensive program should be able to adopt a child. There should be no barriers to those qualified and capable of raising a child abandoned or otherwise without parents. |

Message | I hope our distinguished colleagues from the CLA can understand that this bill is a little bit too progressive for us. On moral issues, to please everyone in our broad party, we have resolved always to support the status quo, that is, not step towards more conservative moral values, but also not progressivation as this bill does. We do welcome the firearms and slander parts, but the moral parts are simply too progressive. |
