Date | 14:19:45, April 29, 2005 CET | From | Democratic Socialists of Endralon | To | Debating the Safe Cloning Act |
Message | We would support research into technologies which have the potential to save many lives such as stem cell research but certainly not anything which will lead to the birth of cloned people and until we can be clear about the consequences of the bill we will vote no. |
Date | 11:54:26, April 30, 2005 CET | From | Communist Party of Endralon | To | Debating the Safe Cloning Act |
Message | Cloned people are essentially the same as identical twins. In fact, identical twins have far more in common with each other than a man and his clone, because the twins have the same age and grew up in the same environment. |
Date | 11:58:57, April 30, 2005 CET | From | Communist Party of Endralon | To | Debating the Safe Cloning Act |
Message | Besides, this bill only legalises research in cloning technologies, not the actual cloning of human beings. |
