MessageWe are unsure, this is not the first time the Liberals in Lodamun have created NATO, and there is a reason for this. We are loathe to tie ourselves to an alliance which may not benefit us. We urge the foreign minister to pay greater attention to forming alliances with neighbouring nations.

Message***Letter from the Liberal Party Leadership***

Honorable Members of the Pontesi' legislature,

It has been brought to our attention that a claim has been made indicating that the Liberal Party was the sponsor of the original NATO charter. That claim is false. That's as simple as it gets. Yes, the Liberal Party was a strong advocate of NATO and yes, Lodamun became the leading nation in NATO but that's not the same situation.

We hope this clarifies the situation.

Sincerely,

The Liberal Party

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map.
