Message | Good argument, Pink Floyd and all. It is "... them kids alone" though. But this argument should be put to each parent when they choose school for their kids. Not to the legislature. You choose your school, you don't choose your state, and even nutjobs have the right to live their own life and raise their own kids. |

Message | Of course, but... School could be good in all but be religious because principal's prejudices. And parents have to place children in another school :( |

Message | Yes. And if many people do that the principal will change the policy. Commercial school leaders are not always stupid. They adjust their schools to the wishes of the kids and parents. |

Message | Some parents don't know about preachers. Some don't want to protest active. Some principals are stubborn... However I think we must add this in laws. |

Message | Some parents will have to find out. Some don't have to protest actively, they just choose a school that suits them. And many do protest actively if their school does bad things. The others can just tag along. Some principals will only get those pupils whose parents like to make them pray. And why should they not be allowed to get their way somewere, just like everyone else? We do not think that we should add this to the law. |

Message | This seems ridiculuous. As our school system is private, inevitably some schools will be attatched to religious institutions therefore how can you ban prayer in them? For those that don't want prayer, they can choose a secular school which doesn't have prayer. |

Message | This is a tought vote for me. I fully believe that public schools should ban religious preaching by teachers but seeing as how the schools in this country are privately run, I do not believe Parliament has the right to interfere. |
