| Message | ***Message from the Office of the Vice President*** Honourable Legislators from Beiteynu, As Chairman of the Council, it is my duty to inform you that even though you are about to ratify the charter of NATO and become one of our members, it is the policy of the Organization not to aid new members in their pre-existing conflicts. Therefore, in my capacity as Chairman, I am putting a hold on your membership pending the resolution of the aforementioned conflict. What does this mean to you? Very simple. NATO, as the Organization, will not intervene in the situation described above. However, member-nations are free to intervene on their own as long as the integrity and security of the other member-states is not compromised due to their actions. Once your conflict has had a resolution, I will gladly accept your membership into NATO and your country will receive the full benefits of membership in our Organization.
