| The National Parliament of Beiteynu hereby declares the Beiteynuese Republic to be in a state of war with the Holy Luthori Empire. Refusing to recognize our legal declaration of the republic from Yishelem, the Luthori Empire has said they are going to invade, and have a bill quite similar to this one currently going through their legislature. They are going to send in 60,000 land forces and 3 carrier groups totaling 210,000 troops. The National Parliament hereby gives the Prime Minister and President of the Republic joint responsibility of raising an army consisting of the following: 350,000 regular land forces (75,000 of these marines); 150,000 paramilitary militias; 40,000 naval personnel (9 battleships; 11 destroyers; 15 submarines; 1 aircraft carrier); 22 fighter squadrons; and 12 bomber squadrons. The President of the Republic shall act as commander-in-chief of all national forces, and the Prime Minister as field representative of the commander-in-chief. For the Republic! |

I mean the chances are Yishelem Military would leave somethings behind, but ships and stuff? Really. I mean this would take years to build and in the middle of a revolution. Just buy them from the blackmarket, makes sense. |
