Description[?]:
The use of Cannibis and other "recreational" drugs are legal. However, a National Advertising campaign will be instigated explaining the dangers of such usage to the populace, as well as a ban on the advertisment of these products and inclusion of health warnings on those drugs that could have a detrimental effect on health. The use of "recreational" drugs will also be strictly regulated and limited to certain areas (not including a private residence*). Those places where "recreational" drug usage is banned: 1. Banks. 2. Educational Facilities. 3. Health care Facilitities. 4. Laundromats. 5. Public Transportation Facilities. 6. Reception Areas. 7. Restaurants. 8. Retail food production and retailing outlets. 9. Retail service establishments. 10. Retail stores. 11. Shopping Malls. 12. Sports arenas. 13. Theatres and Cinemas. 14. Waiting Rooms. *A private residence is not a public place, unless it is used as a child care, adult day care, or health facility. As with alcohol, driving under the influence of such "recreational" drugs is prohibited, and people doing so may receive penalties ranging from fines, to penalty points on their licences to an outright ban. Also, as with drivers, the use of heavy machinery is also prohibited under the inlfuence of "recreational" drugs. "Recreational" drugs may only be purchased from licenced sales outlets, and may only be purchased by adults. A Public Health "Watchdog" will be set up to monitor the uses and side-affects of these drugs, and will provide information to the Government and Health Services as to any harmful effects that may occur with long term use. --Original Text - We Say So!
