Bill: Defence Sabotage Prevention
Details
Submitted by[?]: Communist Party of Kafuristan
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2133
Description[?]:
The state shall assume the responsibility of supplying its forces directly. This will allow for better organised productions, much more secure facilities, and a stable supply of equipment for the armed forces without interaction from the constantly fluctuating stock market and greedy business sector which frequently takes government money with the goal of providing minimum for maximum prices. Right now, the select businesses know that the government does not have another source of production, and we are paying far too much for our current equipment. We aim to make the defence budget do more with the same funding. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The nation's defence industry.
Old value:: Defence industries are privately owned and not subsidised.
Current: The state owns national defence industries but these exist alongside privately owned defence industries.
Proposed: The state owns all defence industries.

Message | Hey, the defence industry pays us to declare war! And have people die to have a better economy! We won't let this stand! |

Message | We create contracts to various companies for various things. No single private company has a monopoly on any part of of national defense industry. The competition for contracts ensures a much higher degree of quality than you seem to think. |
