Bill: 3rd Meeting of the Imperial Un-Luthorian Activities Committee (IULAC) - 2872

Details

Submitted by[?]: Constitutionalist Imperial League (IA)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2874

Description[?]:

The IULAC, under the rotationary chairmanship of the Rt Hon Sean Warwick, representing the CIL, summons both the Radical Left Party and the Committee for Liberation to testify in front of this Holy Committee, charged with keeping Luthori safe from the enemies of the Empire.

Permanent members of the IULAC:
EAP - 1 vote
CIL - 1 vote

Both of the parties summoned are accused of being or having close ties to either communist, fascist, national socialist, nuncirist, saiserist or islamic fascist organizations. In addition, both summoned parties are accused of disloyalty towards the Emperor and non-recognition of His glorious reign.

This committee is legaly sanctioned to limit or make void the rights of a party it deems to in any way go against the interests of the Emperor. Accusations will be dropped if the accused swear on the Holy Bible that they reject aforementioned ideologies and wholeheartedly support the Emperor. May it be noted that the if such oath is given and later broken, by behaviour deemed by this committee to be un-Luthorian, it will constitute the crime of high treason, which is punishable by death. If the accused refuse to make such an oath in the first plae, this committee will procede to either limit or make void the rights of aforementioned parties.

The members of this committee will decide on the guilt or innocence of the summoned parties in addition to what is considered un-Luthorian behaviour. Refusal to appear in front of this committee constitutes a major offense which is equivalent to refusing to swear an oath of loyalty and will result in the same consenquences, notably limitation or voidance of the summoned parties' various rights, to be determined by this committee. It will also result in the summoned parties' classification as un-Luthorian organizations, which include but are not limited to: communist, fascist or national socialist organizations.

Note: The Diet's code of address is not in appliance here, however, formal vocabulary is expected. Upon passage of this bill by both the Diet and this Committee, both the Committee for Liberation and the Radical Left Party will be barred from speaking on the Diet floor and will be forbidden from proposing any bill or resolution regarding foreign policy and national security, both terms to be determined by this Committee.

God bless the Emperor

MessageThe CfL is accused of promoting communist ideology and therefore undermining the reign of His Majesty. In addition, we ask the CfL to clarify its use of the quote: "We work to overthrow oppressors." Who are these oppressors and how do you wish to overthrow them? Is this purely metaphorical and symbolic language?

As was previously stated, renouncing aforementioned subversive ideologies and swearing loyalty to the Emperor and His reign will suffice to clear the CfL of all charges.

As is stated in the first resolution of the IULAC, social democracy is completely acceptable as an ideology if it is combined with allegiance towards the Emperor. It is the belief of this Committee, as outlined in its first resolution, that social democracy can work with conservatism and liberalism to produce positive outcomes and advance our Empire.

MessageSince both the CfL and RLP have refused to justify their actions in front of this Committee, we consider them un-Luthorian organizations.

MessageOOC: As this war was carefully planned between the Beiteynese players and I to be a fun RP, could I ask you (RLP and CfL) to please let us finish it. If you dont want to actively engage in RP, that's your choice, but if you could let EAP and me do so, I'd really appreciate it.

MessageOur actions need no justification of any one sole person, since our actions are not violent but only ideological ideas it is very strange that the CIL have been so provocte as it seems, if this is they way CIL want it, then so be it. Let them come!
