Submitted by[?]: Progressive Capitalist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2874
Description[?]:
We ask Parliament for a declaration of a national emergency on the grounds of terrorist activity in Lirona. The Revolutionary Ultranational Guards have taken to the Lironese Mountain Range. This terrorist activity will not be tolerated in Telamon. We also ask Parliament for the deployment of the 1st Armored Division, about 15,000 troops, into Lirona. We ask for the Defense Minister Jeremy Tillman to orchestrate a series of air strikes in the Lironese Mountain Range, administered by the 82nd Airborne Division. We ask Parliament to press the governor of Lirona to deploy the Lironese National Guard on the border of Hutori, to prevent any further terrorists from getting in and around our borders. Furthermore, the Infrastructure and Transport Minister Veet Voojagig will oversee the temporary heightening of airport and seaport security. All told, we're looking at an overall deployment of 25,000 troops into Lirona. Zaphod Beeblebrox has been in constant contact with the Lord Protector of Hutori Tom Major. We also ask Foreign Affairs Minister Jonathan Hughes to send a strong message to the nation of Hutori that condemns this action taken by the Ultranationalists. We will not stand for terrorism in the Republic of Telamon. |

Message | Esteemed Parliament, I would like to encourage you all to view the proceedings in our own Parliament in Hutori, where I am sure you will realise that we take an equally strong view on the activities of these terrorists. I have been in contact with your President on the matter, and I hope to have ensured him that the Hutorian government would like to offer Telamon its full support on this issue, after our own country has been plagued by terrorism for too long now. http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=276077 |

Message | We demand that whatever military equipment required to be deployed into Lirona, but also a wall be constructed to prevent terrorists sneaking through and apply incredibly strict border controls, we must not harbour foreign terrorists within our borders and apply a zero tolerance policy |

Message | Lirona is our home territory. Lironanians do not need the federal government interfering. Let the local guard handle this on their own. The military does not need to be involved. STAY OUT OF LIRONA! |

Message | The Telamon Government must also realise that Revolutionary Ultranational Guard are not in anyway associated with our party other than pure political belief. We have no controlling influence. We did not "deploy" them. |
