| --Edict of Sturmburg-- -Dissolution of the Maximilian Industries power within Kafuristan- Firstly, let it be know that the assets, holdings and rights of the group known as the Maximilian Industries”, within the boundaries of the entity known as Kafuristan, are to be handed over to the Sovereign Military Order of the Knights of St James of Tordary. The following reforms are to all be altered, within the name “Maximilian Industries” removed, and the Sovereign Military Order of the Knights of St James of Tordary added in its place; - http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=262630 - http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=262622 - http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=262627 - http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=262934 - http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=263601 -Name Change- In order to recognise the formation of the Crusader state, the name of the state shall be altered to that of the "Kafuristani Monastic State of the Knights of St. James", if this Bill passes with a two-thirds majority. -Capital Change- The capital city is to be moved to Tordar Port, which shall function as the Headquarters of the Knights of St James. -Explanation of the transformation of Kafuristan into a Crusader State- Kafuristan is a failed state. Its previous government’s primary motivation was the economic exploitation of its resources and people. Furthermore the true path to eternal salvation through the Terran Catholic Church was denied to the population of Kafuristan. Upon seeing this the Grand Master of the Sovereign Military Order of the Knights of St James of Tordary was dismayed, and worked tirelessly to bring about the necessary change needed to liberate the Kafuristani people from their shackles of slavery and ignorance. It is the belief of the Grand Master that firm government and the gospel of our saviour can be brought to the Kafuristani’s, and their souls can be saved. Those who do not want to have their souls saved by the teachings of our Lord will be swiftly dispatched to eternal damnation. -Role of the Sovereign Military Order of the Knights of St James of Tordary- The role of the Order of St James is to form the governing class of the Crusader State. They will oversee the establishment of a new government that will ensure Kafuristan develops as a faithful and devout nation. A slice of heaven on earth. Knights of the Order will occupy senior positions within the executive, will dominate the legislature, will form the upper echelons of the civil service, and shall form the officer caste within the armed forces. Furthermore they will dominate local governance, except in the areas where responsibility has been handed over to other Military Orders. -Military Orders active within Kafuristan- Naturally the Knights of St James retain overwhelming power within Kafuristan. However the various other orders of the Terran Catholic Church are to be given the opportunity to exercise power within the Crusader State. Military matters will reside largely within the hands of the Knights of St James, but the Knights of St George are to be encouraged to establish themselves here. The Martial Sisterhood of St. Morena is to be given the opportunity to oversee the development of a domestic policy, particularly with regards to the welfare of the heathen natives. The Order of Sacrifice and Pain is to oversee the development of the inquisition in Kafuristan in order to root out heresy and paganism. The Order of St. Jarilo, the Reaper of Souls is to oversee and the education of the native population in matters concerning their conversion to the true faith. The Order of Sv Parnum is also to be offered a role in support of the Knights of St James. |
