Bill: Privitize Healthcare
Details
Submitted by[?]: Social Democratic Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2134
Description[?]:
For the sake of common sense, those that can pay can be subject to higher qualities, and those who cannot pay will be subject to BETTER healthcare than what we are giving them now, because more money can be focused on them! If you truly are a party in favor of supporting the poor, you'd vote in favor of this. I just don't see the proper arguments against this. They are all "OMG! NO WEALTH EQUALS HEALTH!" Hey genius, if we continue living by that stupid quote, there will be no health at all in this country because everyone's going to eventually feel it when the government is losing money to spend on healthcare. Look at Canada, the rich and middle-class are forced to go to the U.S. to receive decent healthcare because the state Canadian healthcare system is so backed up and inefficient. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Health care policy.
Old value:: Health care is entirely public and free; private clinics are banned.
Current: Health care is entirely private.
Proposed: Health care is private, but is paid for by the state for people with low incomes.

Message | LSBC is a disgusting party with disgusting ideas. EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO FREE HEALTHCARE, Look at every single EUROPEAN NATION, We all have State Healthcare and it works well. Then look at America, it has one of the worse healthcare systems in the world FACT. On this AMERICAN DOCUMENTARY television programme, they compared the AMERICAN, CUBAN and CANADAIN ststem and guess what, the results were as following 1st = CUBAN HEALTHCARE SYSTEM (the one we got atm) 2nd = CANADAIN HEALTHCARE SYSTEM Last place = AMERICAN HEALTHCARE SYSTEM (The one you want) Saids a lot about the backwards and sick and disgusting system you want that NO civilised society would have, and no intelligent people want. |

Message | "EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO FREE HEALTHCARE," Gee, right from John Locke's words eh? Heh, no. "Look at every single EUROPEAN NATION, We all have State Healthcare and it works well." Yes, look at how Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia, and Bulgaria and how WELL they are doing! "Then look at America, it has one of the worse healthcare systems in the world FACT." Which explains why Canadians that can afford it prefer it above their own nation's healthcare. "1st = CUBAN HEALTHCARE SYSTEM (the one we got atm) 2nd = CANADAIN HEALTHCARE SYSTEM Last place = AMERICAN HEALTHCARE SYSTEM (The one you want)" Did they even bother to compare populations? Cuba is nowhere near 250 million. Canada is around 30 million. The United States has around 250-300 million people. And you gave no name to this documentary. Anyone can make a video. Hell, I made two documentaries already. "Saids a lot about the backwards and sick and disgusting system you want that NO civilised society would have, and no intelligent people want." You keep saying that, it doesn't make it true. |

Message | OOC: Also, LBSC, I happen to live in Canada and am MIDDLE CLASS like you say. Let me explain to you something, the costs of operations and surgeries are provided by the government and IS NOT PAID FOR THROUGH TAXES because we have a SURPLUS. As a result, semi-private clinics do exist if you wish to be interned, relax and be pampered for a few days after the surgery. Most Canadians don't go across the border for healthcare, I happen to live near the border with the USA myself and can attest to that, you however, live in California which is far from the border (unless Canada retained the Oregon Territory instead of it being sold by the King to the US). Western Canada is also more Americanized than Eastern Canada. IC: We will not support this measure as we only approve in only some cases of a few semi-private healthcare services but mostly government-funded healthcare services for the people. |

Message | What does population have to do with anything? More people equals more doctors. |

Message | i've read the book of TV nation w00ters! 'Yes, look at how Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia, and Bulgaria and how WELL they are doing!' actually... they dont have public anymore except maybe belarus... but what do YOU know about Belarus, hehe... 'Which explains why Canadians that can afford it prefer it above their own nation's healthcare.' Off course the privatehealthcare is of higher qaulity cause they can afford more expensive equipment and better doctors! BUT that does not mean the average of the healtchare systems (that includes the healthcare for the poor) is good! |
